Packing and Textile
Compression - Packing

Textile
High temperature textiles commonly used in boilers, ovens, steam, welding and insulating applications. Materials available include Fiberglass, Ceramic, ThermoCarbon™, Termoceram™, and Tetraglass.
Sealant and Adhesives
Joint Sealant
If you require an instant on-site moldable gasket, request a Joint-Sealant Teadit® 24B or 24BB material made of pure 100% expanded PTFE.
Teflon Sealant
Teflon Thread Seal includes Tapes and Pastes. Inventory ranges from low density and low cost tapes to heavy density high quality tape. Thread Paste is used extensively in place of tape in applications that benefit from an instant seal. Standard, oxygen and gas applications.
Adhesives
Our products include a full range from the Permabond™ adhesive family including Anaerobic Adhesives and Sealants, Cyanoacrylate (Instant Adhesives), Epoxy, Structural Acrylic and UV Curables.
Metallic and Semi Metallic
Metallic
A full stock of Ring Type Joint gaskets for wellhead flanges are available conforming to API PSL-4 specifications. Test rings are also available in rubber coated steel or a multi-reusable machined polymer.
Semi Metallic
A complete range of semi-metallic gaskets including Spiral Wound gaskets, Kammprofile, Corrugated, and Double Jacket exchanger gaskets.
Isolation Gaskets and Kits
QUESTGUARD® flange isolation (insulation) products are constructed of premium engineering materials. The isolation products include a wide selection of isolating/sealing gaskets along with a variety of sleeves and washers. For maximum flexibility, components may be ordered separately or as part of complete flange isolation kits.
Soft Cut Gaskets
Teflon and Gylon Sheet
Teflon is the most widely used plastic for industrial sealing. The only products that chemically attack Teflon is liquid alkaline metals and free fluorine. Teflon gaskets are used in services where it is necessary to have a high chemical resistance.
Compressed Fiber Sheet
Compressed Fiber gaskets are produced from a combination of fibers and bonded with elastomers to provide flexibility and elasticity. High temperatures and pressure and its low cost compared with performance makes it the product of choice to fabricate industrial gaskets.
Graphite Sheet and Tape
Graphite is one of the most reliable sealing materials. It offers excellent resistance to acids, alkaline solutions and organic composites. It has excellent temperature range of –400°F to 5400°F, in reducing or neutral service without contact with Oxygen. For oxidant service the upper limit is 840°F.
Rubber
Elastomer Gaskets offer excellent compressibility and recovery.

Fasteners
Threaded Studs
Quest Gasket supplies alloy steel stud bolts in 3/8-inch through 4 3/4-inch diameters and to any length. Our tap-end stud bolt combines a cold forming process with a superior design incorporating a thread shoulder for uniform depth of engagement.
Threaded Nuts
We inventory a complete range of Stud-Bolts, threaded bar and nuts. Materials includes: B7, B7M, L7, L7M, B8, B8M, Gr5, and Gr8. Heavy Hex nuts include: 2H, 2HM, Gr4, L7, L7M, Gr5 and Gr8. Coatings are available in Zinc, Galvanize, Cadmium, and Xylan® Teflon.
